Difference  between Profit and Nonprofit Organizations 

Profit organization

A legal  entity  which operates for earning for the owner is known as  For-profit or profit organization.  The motive of a profit organization or a business is to make as much money as possible . Profitable business  or organization Can run by sole  proprietorship , Partnership , firm or company. It can be operated or managed by sole proprietor, partners or directors  as the owners want . Main source of income of a profitable Company /organization or business comes from selling  its products and services. 

কোন প্রতিষ্ঠান যেটা পরিচালিত হয়  এর মালিক কে  আর্থিকভাবে লাভবান করতে  সেটাই  প্রফিট অর্গানাইজেশন  বা প্রফিট বিজনেস. সুতরাং  কোন একটি প্রফিত অর্গানিজেশন  বা লাভ মূলক  প্রতিষ্ঠান এর মূল উদ্দেশ্য থাকে  মুনাফা অর্জন করা.  এ ধরনের প্রতিষ্ঠানের মালিক কোন ব্যক্তি বা অংশীদারিত্বের ভিত্তিতে হতে পারে. যেহেতু প্রফিট  অর্গানাইজেশন বা  কোম্পানিগুলোর মুখ্য উদ্দেশ্য হলো সর্বোচ্চসংখ্যক মুনাফা অর্জন  তাই এই প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো অবশ্যই দক্ষ জনবল দ্বারা  পরিচালিত হতে হয়. এ ধরনের প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো প্রতিষ্ঠানের মালিক,  অংশীদার  বা  মালিক কর্তৃক নিয়োজিত কর্মকর্তা কর্মচারীদের দ্বারা পরিচালিত হতে পারে. পণ্য এবং সেবা বিক্রি করে এধরনের প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো  আয় করে থাকে.

Non profit organization or business:

A non profit organization is a legal entity which operates for serving the society as a whole. Main motive of such a company is to serve the society and humanity.  This type of organization is usually run by donation  and subscription fee  from the members.  This type of organization is structurally very  different  from a profit organization. Most common form of this category is a club   where  members Donate  a certain amount And from the members donation the club  runs. A committee from the members  or governing board  manage the whole operation of this type of organization. 

Non-profit অর্গানিজেশন গুলো মূলত প্রচারিত হয় সামাজিক দায়বদ্ধতা থেকে.   এদের উদ্দেশ্য হল সমাজে একটি পজিটিভ ইম্প্যাক্ট রাখা.  এ ধরনের  প্রতিষ্ঠান বা অর্গানাইজেশন এর উদাহরণ হল  বিভিন্ন ধরনের ক্লাব  যেখানে সদস্যরা  নির্দিষ্ট পরিমান চাঁদা দিয়ে  ক্লাবটিকে চলমান রাখে. সদস্যদের মধ্যে থেকে নির্বাচিত কমিটি বা গভর্নিং বডির মাধ্যমে এ ধরনের প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো পরিচালিত হয়.
